Students from Summit Technology Academy and the Lee’s Summit R-7 high schools have the opportunity to participate in the 2017 R-7 China Exchange Program during spring 2017.
Students will learn about China’s rich culture by visiting Beijing, Xian and Shanghai. They will visit the Great Wall, the Terracotta Warriors as well as numerous other historic and meaningful locations. Interested students should pick up a registration packet at their high schools’ office. First travel meeting will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Oct. 10 at Bernard Campbell Middle School. The students will travel March 18 through 29, and the trip’s cost is $2,900 per person.
