// Posted By Janie Rohlfing

Students in Joanne Fuchs seventh-grade Eastern Hemisphere classes visited the Historical Society of Lee’s Summit Museum Sept. 2. The museum contains maps, photographs and artifacts of early Lee’s Summit. Displays include a re-creation of the Vogue Theater, a WPA kitchen, information on local musical families the Brownings and Methenys, and an exhibit on the Border War including Lee’s Summit’s notorious resident Cole Younger. In the photo, Susan Sims gives a tour to students.
