The Lee’s Summit R-7 School District, in an effort to provide continuing commmunication between teachers, parents and students, has taken a proactive approach to optimizing student achievement for each student. The district’s student management system, PowerSchool, provides real-time visibility of middle school and high school students’ grades, attendance, and other important data. Parents no longer have to wait for progress reports and other paper updates to receive their child’s most current information. When teachers and administrators update grades, attendance, and other important data, that information is immediately available to parents and students in real-time.
Note: PowerSchool is not available to parents of elementary students at this time as teachers are still using hardcopy gradebooks. Parents of elementary students will receive notification along with logon information when it is made available.
Parent notification letters and Parent Connect brochures are mailed to new parents to the district to prepare them for access to their child’s attendance and grade information. If you do not know your logon information, please contact the Guidance Office at your child’s school.
