Dinner with the Board Returns for Conversation on a Student Walkout Policy
The Lee’s Summit R-7 School District Board of Education will host three Dinner with the Board events in October as the district considers a policy addressing student walkouts.
The "Dinner with the Board" events will give families and community members an opportunity to review the draft policy, ask questions, hear from district leaders and provide feedback before the Board considers the policy.
Each evening will begin with a short introduction to the topic. Participants will then work in small groups at tables to review the draft policy and discuss potential additions, deletions or changes. Board members will visit each table to hear feedback, answer questions and ask clarifying questions.

No RSVP is necessary, but it is encouraged to help us plan for the evening. You do not have to attend the event at your student’s school to participate. Choose the date and location that work best for your family, and come join the conversation.
