LSR7 Special Services Hosts Community Resource Expo

Monday, November 7, Lee's Summit R-7 School District's Special Services team hosted a Community Resource Expo for all the families it serves.

More than 50 providers and organizations were represented at the Expo, held at the Missouri Innovation Campus.

Families were invited to come in, meet with each other, and learn about the different options that exist around Lee's Summit and our surrounding communities that can help a variety of needs from pre-k through adulthood.

Part of the success of the Community Resource Expo is also thanks to LSR7 students. Lee's Summit West Life Skills and Culinary Arts students put together a menu for attendees to snack on while they met with different organizations.
