LSR7 Culinary Students Studying at Herndon Career Center Compete at National Level

Students from LSR7 traveled with a team from the Herndon Career Center to compete in the ProStart Invitational Culinary Competition.

The culinary team took third place out of 42 teams from across the country in a competition that is comparable to anything you've ever seen on TV.

The culinary team had to prepare a three0course meal in 60 minutes, using only two butane burners and without access to running water or electricity. The students were evaluated on taste, skill, teamwork, safety and sanitation.

The following LSR7 Students helped the Herndon team earn that third place title and scholarships that come with it:
