LSR7 represented well at state music conference

More than 30 students from Lee's Summit R-7 School District are performing at the state level this week during the Missouri Music Educators Association (MMEA) State Conference.

Thousands of students from across the state audition for the All-State Band, Choir, Jazz Band and Collective and only a select few are chosen to work with world-renowned clinicians and perform in concert.

The following students were chosen for that opportunity:

Two Lee's Summit West ensembles were also separately selected to perform at the MMEA State Conference through a competitive audition process. LSW's Combined Treble Choir was selected as one of two Treble Choirs to perform Thursday, January 25th for members of MMEA. LSW's Chamber Orchestra is one of three high school Orchestras selected to perform on the same date.
