Lee's Summit North Broncos boys track team wins state championship

Congratulations to the Lee's Summit North Boys Track team, the new state champions. The team had incredible individual and relay races and the Broncos were named overall winners of the championship Memorial Day weekend. The following results were all contributions to the overall champion win:

  • Devan Mathis: State Champion- 110M Hurdles, 300m Hurdles; Member of both state championship relays 4 X 200m and 4 X 400m. 
  • Isaiah Hoard: 4th place in Triple Jump
  • Jeremiah Mangels: 1st place Para 100, Para 200, Para 400
  • Brandon Marshall: Member of State Champion 4 X 400m Relay
  • Logan Mayfield: Member of State Champion 4 X 200m relay 
  • Kavan Newberry: 4th place in the 200m; member of State Champion 4 X 200m relay
  • Zach Paul: 4th place in the 400m; Member of both state championship relays 4 X 200m and 4 X 400m
  • Frank Sparks: 5th place in the Long Jump; 5th place in 110m Hurdles
  • Mason Stanfield: Member of State Champion 4 X 400m relay
