Yearbook Award

The 2022-23 Reflector Yearbook at Lee's Summit High School was selected as a finalist for the Yearbook Pacemaker Award. The award is presented by the National Scholastic Press Association each year, selecting from yearbooks across the country. The Reflector was one of 47 high schools in the U.S. to earn the recognition. The winner of the award will be announced in April. The following students were part of the editorial board to produce the yearbook:

LSHS Broadcasting Team

The Tiger High Intro to Broadcasting class attended the Academy of Scholastic Broadcasting Competition in Springfield last month. They entered in the novice division for the first time competing against 25 other schools from around the country. The following students placed in the competition:

State Cheer Champions

The Lee's Summit North Cheerleaders took the top spot at the Missouri Cheerleading Coaches Association State Cheer Championship. Lee's Summit High School took third place. Congratulations to both teams!

Heartland Chinese Teacher Award

Lee's Summit West teacher Liang May Lee is one of the winners of the 2024 Heartland Chinese Teacher Award. The award recognizes educators teaching Chinese in the Heartland region that have creative curriculum, a positive impact on students and the community.
