The Lee’s Summit R-7 School District Public Relations oversees all district efforts to provide our school community with two-way communication that builds engagement, collaboration and confidence.
In an effort to keep you informed about Lee’s Summit R-7 Schools, we communicate in a number of ways including through the district website, electronic newsletters, a district magazine, Facebook, YouTube and Instagram.

R-7 News is e-mailed on Thursdays to more than 22,000 subscribers. Special issues are occasionally released.
R-7 Advocacy is designed to help interested individuals stay informed about legislative advocacy issues impacting our schools.

LSR7 Magazine
Our district magazine is delivered to all residences in the Lee’s Summit R-7 School District several times a year.
Board Meetings
Board of Education meetings are typically held at 7 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month at the Tony L. Stansberry Leadership Center, 301 NE Tudor Road. For more information about the meetings, call 986-1000.
