Summer School

Summer School is offered as an enrichment program each summer for elementary and middle school students enrolled in LSR7.

Important Dates:

Inclement weather days are added to the end of the 2024-25 calendar year. Any changes to Summer School dates due to those calendar adjustments will be reflected here.

Enrollment Dates

K-5th Grade:
Opens: 12 p.m. on March 26
Closes: 3 p.m. on April 4

6th-8th Grade:
Opens: 12 p.m. on March 27
Closes: 3 p.m. on April 4

Summer School

K-5th Grade: May 28 - June 30

6th-8th Grade: May 28 - June 27

Summer School Dates

  • Elementary summer school will run Monday - Friday from May 28-June 30.
  • Secondary summer school will run Monday - Friday from May 28-June 27.
  • Summer school is closed on Thursday, June 19 in observance of Juneteenth.

Students may enroll at any Summer School site, regardless of home school, if transportation is provided. To access shuttle service, please enroll at the site connected to your home school. More shuttle information will be shared with the course catalog.

Y Club Lee's Summit

High School Summer School

High school students can attend summer school in-person and online.

11 Day Classes:

  • Session 1 - May 28-June 11
  • Session 2 - June 12-June 28
