Lee's Summit Reads

Last year the LSR7 Library Department hosted their first community wide reading program. Participants read the picture book, Hugo and the Impossible Thing, and attended the final celebration, Hugo's Party. This year we'll host our second, the title of the book will be announced in January.

LSR7 Bookmobile

Our LSR7 Bookmobile brings books directly to students, visiting schools throughout the year and neighborhoods across the district during the summer. Every child who visits receives free books to keep, helping build at-home libraries and encouraging a love of reading all year long. The Bookmobile keeps students connected to literature, even when school is out.
