ADVANCED STRENGTH AND PERFORMANCE


PREREQUISITE: Foundations of Fitness, Strength and Performance with a ‘B’ or higher and teacher approval.

Note: Advanced Strength and Performance Course may be taken in Fall Semester, Spring Semester, or Both to create a year long course.

ADVANCED STRENGTH AND PERFORMANCE - Fall Semester

Grades: 10-12

Credit: 0.5 unit 

PREREQUISITE: Teacher approval and a ‘B’ or higher in the Strength and Performance 

This is an advanced level class that builds on techniques and training methods introduced in the Strength and Performance course.  Students will establish personal goals and be expected to demonstrate an improved level of muscular strength, endurance,  explosive power, agility and flexibility.  Student will be expected to work in a cooperative environment and model respect for self and others. Class can be repeated.
