FOUNDATIONS OF DRAWING

PREREQUISITE: None

This course is designed for the beginning drawing student. Students will learn to see and draw accurately from direct
observation. Students will study contour line, shading, proportion and perspective. Emphasis will be placed on
accurately drawing basic forms from different angles and eye levels. Foundations of Drawing along with Foundations
of Design is a prerequisite for Painting I, Drawing I, Graphic and Computer Arts I and Ceramics I courses.
