This course is designed to prepare students to pursue post-secondary education and careers in the biomedical sciences. Students will explore each system of the human body with a detailed focus on anatomy and physiology. Models and diagrams will be used to learn
components of each system. Laboratory work will include a cat dissection and extensive organ dissections. Medical terminology
will be emphasized in each system and application of knowledge will be necessary to solve difficult problems related to the
human body. May be offered for dual credit for eligible students. Dual credit information can be found under the Advanced Studies section.
