This class is a two-year program that follows the International Baccalaureate Language A syllabus. Students study literature to
understand writers’ craft and global issues. Students develop written and oral communication skills. Over the two years, the IB
assessment requires oral presentation, one paper, and two written exams in May of senior year. Refer to the Advanced
