PREREQUISITE: IB Coordinator of Teacher Approval
ITGS is inherently interdisciplinary, emphasizes social/ethical issues, and yet requires enough technical knowledge to make judgments about the use of technology. This multi-faceted focus on critical 21st century issues makes ITGS relevant and exciting for students. In ITGS, students examine the social significance and ethical considerations arising from information technology and how these issues influence individuals, communities, nations, and organizations. Students are required to sit for the IB assessment and pay a fee for this exam.
