INTERMEDIATE ALGEBRA II

PREREQUISITE: Teacher recommendation or earned Algebra I and Geometry credits.
This course offers students an in-depth review of foundational Algebra I concepts while introducing select topics from Algebra II. Key areas of study include solving equations, inequalities, and systems of equations and inequalities; graphing a variety of functions; performing operations with polynomials and rational expressions; and exploring properties of exponents, radicals, and complex numbers. Additional topics include probability and statistics. Daily homework is assigned to reinforce learning. The use of graphing calculators is strongly encouraged.
