PRE-ALGEBRA

Prerequisite: TEACHER RECOMMENDATION (recommendation based on 8th-grade Math performance, NWEA and MAP scores)

This course is designed to provide 9th-grade students with a strong foundation in the necessary skills in order to be Algebra-ready. Students  will study proportional, algebraic, geometric, and statistical relationships. Students will enroll in Algebra I the following year. Note: This course counts as a credit toward graduation but is not approved by NCAA. Students needing NCAA-approved credits will need to take Algebra I, Geometry, and one additional math course after Geometry.
