SMALL ENGINE REPAIR

PREREQUISITE: None
Students will study a variety of engine types with an emphasis on 4-stroke engines. Activities include small engine overhaul, ignition tune-up, and fuel system repair. Manuals or computer software will be used to locate parts and specifications. Each student is required to provide one repairable single cylinder 4-cycle engine and will be responsible for the cost of any parts, gaskets sets, and repairs. Safety will be a major concept throughout this course. This class does have a class fee.
