Social Studies Topics is a semester-long course that provides students in-depth study of a specific topic or subfield in the social
sciences. Examples might include, but are not limited to: sports, military weaponry, criminology, study of minority groups, etc. (see
building for course focus). Course format will be thematic, considering a single topic or focus through the lenses of economics,
geography, government, conflict, and culture.
