Boundaries

These boundary updates align with 2025 Bond planning to address anticipated growth in the district.

• Greenwood & Woodland Elementary: Following a successful bond issue, the district is constructing a new Greenwood Elementary to serve students who live in the Greenwood community. When the new building opens ahead of the 2027–28 school year, approximately 150-180 students who currently attend Woodland Elementary and reside west of the 150 railroad bridge and Big Creek will transition to Greenwood Elementary — bringing neighborhood kids closer to home.
• Hazel Grove Elementary: Hazel Grove's western boundary will expand to incorporate the airport corridor and extend north to Lake Jacomo above NE Colbern Road, preparing the school for anticipated growth in the northwest part of our district.
• Pleasant Lea Elementary & Pleasant Lea Middle School: In anticipation of residential development in the southwest corner of our district, Pleasant Lea Elementary's boundaries will expand to absorb undeveloped land currently in the Hawthorn Hill, Trailridge and Summit Lakes Middle School boundaries. Families who move into these newly redistricted areas will attend Pleasant Lea Elementary and Pleasant Lea Middle School. This change impacts very few, if any, current LSR7 families.

All boundaries were determined using two factors:

1. Attendance Grid Boundaries
2. Number of students impacted both current and projected.  

With the exception of expanding PLE/PLMS boundaries into undeveloped land previously districted to SLMS, there are no changes to middle school or high school boundaries at this time.
