What to Expect: The Board of Education’s "Dinner with the Board" series will delve into a topic that is shaping the experiences of students every day: the impact of cell phones in the school environment. Prompted by insights from the book The Anxious Generation, the Board is seeking community insights on cell phone access at school. Participants will engage in small-group discussions guided by a facilitator using the World-Cafe style. You’ll have the chance to rotate tables, discuss the topic with different Board members, and connect with fellow community members. At the end of each evening, groups will "harvest" their discussions, sharing key takeaways with the entire group. A professional graphic artist will be on hand to create a visual record of our community’s collective insights. Plus, enjoy free pizza!
