Comprehensive School Improvement Plan (CSIP)
The Lee's Summit School District's three-year strategic plan guides our district mission — preparing each of our students for success in life.
LSR7’s 2024-27 Comprehensive School Improvement Plan (CSIP) was approved by the Board of Education in March 2024 and implemented starting in July 2024. The plan was developed by a collaborative group of staff members, students, parents, and community members over the course of six months. The team studied district data and demographics, surveyed the community and evaluated district needs in order to develop five overarching strategic goals:
Goal 1: The LSR7 School District will ensure student growth and achievement through access to high-quality, personalized educational opportunities.
Goal 2: The LSR7 School District will foster a responsive, inclusive, safe and caring student environment.
Goal 3: The LSR7 School District will maintain high-quality systems and structures to provide effective and efficient district operations.
Goal 4: The LSR7 School District will cultivate meaningful partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Goal 5: The LSR7 School District will recruit and retain a high-quality workforce and maintain a focus on creating an environment in which supported adults serve students well.

From Our Stakeholders
All in our school community had the opportunity to provide valuable input for 2024-27 strategic planning through a districtwide Strategic Priorities survey, as well as a Communications Audit survey, shared with our school community in September 2023.
In addition, a team of 50+ stakeholders, including parents, community members, staff members, and students, worked collaboratively to develop the final plan.
