LSR7 Online Registration
The Lee’s Summit R-7 School District uses an online registration system for families to register returning students each July.
During registration, families upload necessary residency requirements, update immunization records and complete required payments through the PowerSchool Parent Portal. Immunization requirements apply to students learning in-person and through R-7 Online Academy.
Completing online registration before the PowerSchool parent portal closes on August 2 ensures the following:

Your student has a ride to school if they rely on district transportation services.
- All class and teacher assignments are accurate on the first day of school.

PowerSchool Portal How-To
Step 1
Log in to the PowerSchool Parent Portal
Step 2
Select your student's name and select "LSR7 Registration" at the bottom of the navigation
Step 3
Update and enter your student's information. You will need to repeat this for each of your LSR7 students.
Step 4
Click on the "Make Payment" link to view any required payments or optional items to purchase.
Quick reminders:

Registration information cannot be edited once you've hit submit. Be careful to read all instructions to avoid any errors. If you do make a mistake or need to submit an edit, you need to go through your student's school.

Do not submit your registration without uploading proof of residency, age and immunization records.
- If there are any errors with the documents you've submitted, you will hear from your school's registrar within 48 hours.
- There is a Free and Reduced Lunch program. Check the eligibility to see if you qualify. If your family meets the guidelines, you can fill out an application online. Just one application is needed per family.

Language Support
LSR7 provides registration support for families who may need language/translation assistance at the Multicultural Welcome Center. All new and current English Language Development families are welcome! Receive one-on-one help with registration and information about the 2024-2025 school year.
