ADVANCED BROADCASTING

Grade: 10-12

Credit: 1 unit
PREREQUISITE: Teacher Recommendation. Must have completed Introduction to Broadcasting/Video Tech. and have at least C- or higher in the class with a 95% attendance record. 

Students focus on news broadcast skills acquired in Introduction to Video Technology/Broadcasting. Students plan and organize
a news broadcast which includes brainstorming, storyboarding, script writing, interviewing, camera use, and video editing. Class
may be taken for elective credit or practical art credit. Students may choose to take this course for dual credit. Dual credit
