ADVANCED STRENGTH AND PERFORMANCE

ADVANCED STRENGTH AND PERFORMANCE - Fall Semester

Grades: 10-12

Credit: 0.5 unit 

PREREQUISITE: successful completion of Foundations of Fitness and Strength and performance.

This is an advanced level class that builds on techniques and training methods introduced in the Strength and Performance course. Students will establish personal goals and be expected to demonstrate an improved level of muscular strength, endurance, explosive power, agility and flexibility. Students will be expected to work in a cooperative environment and model respect for self and others. Class can be repeated. Advanced Strength and Performance Course may be taken in Fall Semester, Spring Semester or Both to create a yearlong course.
