HEALTH AND FAMILY EDUCATION

This course is intended for 9-10th grade students. Students will learn about basic health information and services, and use such information in ways that will promote lifetime health and wellness behaviors. Throughout this course you, the student, will be able to put into practice important health skills and fundamentals learned in class. Other topics covered in this course are human growth and development, STDs and HIV/AIDS, building healthy relationships and access to community health services.
