This course targets novice-high proficiency and focuses on communicating in real-life contexts. Units explore vacations, shopping, daily routines, and food and dining, emphasizing expressing preferences, describing people and places, sequencing events, and sharing past experiences. Cultural exploration is integrated throughout, including vacation habits, shopping customs, daily life, and dining practices in Spanish-speaking countries. Students develop the ability to exchange simple information, compare experiences, and interact confidently in familiar and everyday situations. Because this class emphasizes communication, regular attendance is required. This class is not intended for native speakers.
