22-day classes: May 28 - June 30
11-day courses:
Session 1: May 28 - June 11
Session 2: June 15 - June 30
*No School on June 12, 2026 & June 19, 2026
Inclement weather days are added to the end of the 2025-26 calendar year. Any changes to Summer School dates due to those calendar adjustments will be reflected here.
All high school students must be up to date with immunizations to attend Summer School.
R-7 Online Classwork Expectations & Attendance Policy
- For Session 1 & 2 classes, please anticipate approximately 6 hours of classwork each day, per class. To cover all class content, expectations of work time roughly align with the attendance that would be required for an in-person class. Recovery classes are only available during Session 1 (Semester 1 content) and Session 2 (Semester 2 content).
- * For each Full Session class, please anticipate approximately 3 hours of classwork a day. For this reason, there is a limit of ONE FULL SESSION class per summer (maximum 3 classes if taken with a Session 1 and/or 2 class).
- As each session is only 11 days long (20 days for Full), students will be dropped after 4 days of non-participation to protect their GPA. When applying, please be aware of any session date conflicts your student may have regarding vacations, camp programs, or internet restrictions. Our attendance policy does not excuse missing work for those reasons.
