FOUNDATIONS OF DESIGN

This beginning level studio course is designed to develop the student’s personal approach to problem solving while
exploring basic principles of design. A variety of media will be used to create two and three-dimensional art.
Foundations of Design along with Foundations of Drawing is a prerequisite for Painting I, Drawing I, Graphic and
Computer Arts I and Ceramics I courses.
