In this course students will increase their active vocabulary, use more complex grammar, continue development of listening and speaking skills, and read and write longer passages. Students are expected to participate in class discussions, improve their pronunciation and fluency, and improve their reading comprehension. Vocabulary themes include shopping, health and working. Grammar topics include verb tenses, reflexives and the object cases. Active class participation is essential. Because this class emphasizes communication, regular
attendance is required.
