.50 (Semester)
This 18-week course will provide an exciting project-based, hands-on approach to learning. Students will be introduced to and use the design process to solve problems and understand the influence that creative and innovative design has on our lives. Students use industry standard 3D modeling software to create a virtual image of their design. Projects that will be completed are as follows, Wooden Bridge, Metal Tool Tray, and Trebuchet / Catapult. This course is based around the Design and Modeling unit of the Gateway to Technology, Project Lead the Way program.
