This 18-week course will provide an exciting project-based, hands-on approach to learning. Students will trace the history, development, and influence of automation and robotics. They learn about mechanical systems, energy transfer, machine automation and computer control systems. The students will also acquire knowledge and skills in basic circuitry design and examine the impact of electricity on our lives. This course is based around the Automation & Robotics and Magic of Electrons units of the Gateway to Technology, Project Lead the Way program.
