Variation of Traits

Students compare and contrast inherited traits and acquired traits. They explore the relationship between the traits of parents and offspring by creating different combinations of dominant and recessive alleles. Students use the design process to create fictional animal parents with a variety of traits. They use data to investigate the traits passed from parents to offspring.
