Hawthorn Hill BASS program earns top honors in Midwest Wellness Week

Before and After School Services - Kids Country Y Club at Hawthorn Hill Elementary earned top honors as the best in the Midwest for KidsFit Wellness Week through Hy-Vee KidsFit Club! #R7Proud
The program received the recognition for:
- Following Hy-Vee’s fitness workbooks and videos
- Learning lifelong lessons about exercising and healthy eating
- Taking a break from technology to go outside and be active
Hy-Vee celebrated the students with an assembly in December, an exercise kit, MadeGood snacks, Johnson & Johnson first-aid kits and education from Listerine.
