ALGEBRA/GEOMETRY II

PREREQUISITE:
Teacher approval/Strongly recommend C- grade or better in Algebra/Geometry I

This course is designed as the second year of a three-year sequence in Algebra and Geometry. The student should enroll in
Algebra/Geometry III the following year. Geometry topics include lines, angles, polygons, coordinate geometry, congruent
triangles, similar polygons, quadrilaterals, Pythagorean Theorem, right triangle trigonometry, transformations, circles,
measurement (area, surface area and volume) and constructions. Logic and reasoning as they apply to Algebra and Geometry
are included. Algebra applications are integrated throughout the course. Daily homework will be assigned.
