ALGEBRA/GEOMETRY III

PREREQUISITE:
Teacher approval/Strongly recommend C- grade or better in Algebra/Geometry II

This course is designed as the third year of a three-year sequence in Algebra and Geometry and includes some topics from
Algebra II. Topics include polynomials; logarithms; simplifying algebraic, radical and rational expressions; graphing and
interpreting linear, quadratic, absolute value, exponential and rational functions; solving linear, quadratic, radical, rational and
nonlinear equations; an introduction to Probability and Statistics; and problem-solving. Daily homework will be assigned.
