CAPSTONE: FASHION/INTERIOR DESIGN AND MERCHANDISING

PREREQUISITE:
Advanced Fashion Design and Construction or Advanced Interior Design 

Learn the various creative and business functions of the fashion and home goods industries. Students learn the dynamics of the
industry including trending, textiles, designers, the design process, production, promotion and visual merchandising. Students
will develop a collection of apparel or home goods by utilizing croquis sketching and/or apparel/home goods construction
techniques, basic planning, independent work, following directions and evaluating are crucial skills in this course in which art,
communication, mathematics, science and technology are applied.
