Required completion of biology and 2.5 GPA and teacher approval

Students will focus on a comprehensive introduction to developmental psychology utilizing up to date research. This course is
designed to help students clearly understand the complex, dynamic process of development in children from birth through
adolescence. Students should expect extensive reading at a collegiate level. This course would be beneficial to any student
planning to pursue a career in education, child care, human service and health science professions. Highly recommended for
students taking Teacher Educator Academy.
