DRAWING I

Grades: 10-12

Credit: 0.5 unit
PREREQUISITE: B- in BOTH Foundations of Drawing and Foundations of Design or Visual Arts or teacher approval

This course emphasizes art elements and principles as they apply to drawing. Students will work on advancing technical
drawing skills and media exploration with the majority of subject matter being from life. Drawing I is strongly
recommended for students who plan to take upper level art courses, including Portfolio and IB Visual Arts.
